This remains one of my favorites. So thrilled to be sharing it!

Artist's Description

The tree in the center is where I sat for the entire week, when I was there in 2010. Following the most difficult time in my life, it was the valley breezes that passed through me there that cleansed me of the pain and darkness that had consumed my insides.

About David Armentrout

David Armentrout

If I have to claim having a style, it would be "real." I know that I do not want to pride myself as a graphic artist. I want, as best as possible, to merely capture what beauty is before my eyes, put it in front of others as it is, and let their eyes and mind do the rest. I hope to convey how the scene felt to me, to try to "live up to the standard of great still photography, revealing the essence of a subject, not just its physical presence." If you see something you like, but not in the size or orientation that you want, drop me an email and I will see what I can do. Similarly, if you would like a signed copy of a print, just email me and we can work out the shipping, etc. (No extra cost for the signature!)
