Product Details

The Point Is metal print by David Armentrout.   Bring your artwork to life with the stylish lines and added depth of a metal print. Your image gets printed directly onto a sheet of 1/16" thick aluminum. The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. The high gloss of the aluminum sheet complements the rich colors of any image to produce stunning results.

Design Details

This was from my first visit to Salt Point State Preserve, along the Sonoma coast. Such a wide array of unusual and beautiful sights.

If I have to claim having a style, it would be "real." I know that I do not want to pride myself as a graphic artist. I want, as best as possible, to merely capture what beauty is before my eyes, put it in front of others as it is, and let their eyes and mind do the rest. I hope to convey how the scene felt to me, to try to "live up to the standard of great still photography, revealing the essence of a subject, not just its physical presence."
