I could not find words powerful enough to describe this image. It was an incredible moment. After spending many hours, hanging out with the Tule Elk, on the north end of Point Reyes, I decided I should hit the road before dark. I came around the bend, and this is what captured me!
If I have to claim having a style, it would be "real." I know that I do not want to pride myself as a graphic artist. I want, as best as possible, to merely capture what beauty is before my eyes, put it in front of others as it is, and let their eyes and mind do the rest. I hope to convey how the scene felt to me, to try to "live up to the standard of great still photography, revealing the essence of a subject, not just its physical presence." If you see something you like, but not in the size or orientation that you want, drop me an email and I will see what I can do. Similarly, if you would like a signed copy of a print, just email me and we can work out the shipping, etc. (No extra cost for the signature!)
