This poster, a variation of the cover shot for this album, contains the words that now provide the theme of my life. The words finally came to me, three months after my 2010 visit, as I tried to verbalize the overwhelming sentiment that struck me as I took this (and the preceding) shot.

If I have to claim having a style, it would be "real." I know that I do not want to pride myself as a graphic artist. I want, as best as possible, to merely capture what beauty is before my eyes, put it in front of others as it is, and let their eyes and mind do the rest. I hope to convey how the scene felt to me, to try to "live up to the standard of great still photography, revealing the essence of a subject, not just its physical presence."
