This is really a mystical shot for me. I had snapped this on my iPhone, a week earlier -- it was too dark to get a camera shot. I returned the following week, tripod in hand (on back), and captured these images.
About David Armentrout
If I have to claim having a style, it would be "real." I know that I do not want to pride myself as a graphic artist. I want, as best as possible, to merely capture what beauty is before my eyes, put it in front of others as it is, and let their eyes and mind do the rest. I hope to convey how the scene felt to me, to try to "live up to the standard of great still photography, revealing the essence of a subject, not just its physical presence."
